Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Rebecca Hubbard is a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner of Grounded Wellness LLC. She provides individual, couples, and group therapy to adults who are interested in gaining more awareness of themselves, so that they can make choices that create healthy lives for themselves, their loved ones, and their communities. Areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and navigating all aspects of identity. In therapy, healing involves being aware of how your identities intersect with the concerns that bring you to counseling.

Dr. Hubbard also provides sport and performance psychology services for individuals, groups, and teams who want to maximize their performance in their work, their sport, or their artistic endeavors.

Most recently, Dr. Hubbard was certified as a Kemetic Yoga Instructor, which has led to a deeper understanding of self-care for herself and how radical self-care can impact our communities.
Dr. Hubbard is currently not accepting new patients for individual or couples therapy. If you are intersted in collaborating in some other way, please feel free to reach out!

My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in Interpersonal Theory, which means that I believe most problems develop and are healed in connection with other people. As your therapist, I strive to be one of those healing connections by creating a supportive, judgment-free space. Together, we explore the past, present, and future aspects of yourself. To do this, I rely on various techniques, depending on your needs, including CBT techniques (cognitive behavioral therapy), emotion-focused techniques, and mindfulness.

I believe we are intimately intertwined with our culture and that are identities impact the way we see the world and the way the world sees us. The better understanding we have of our identities, challenges, and strengths, the more choices we can make, and the more power we have to life the life we want. You can use this power to better care for yourself and others, and get closer to the best version of you!
